Budget Workshops
The annual workshops provide a review of the important factors that affect city budgets while helping attendees understand the state requirements for completing and filing the budget. The Budget Workshops are designed for city administrators, city clerks, and finance officers, but are open to all city officials.

Join us for the 2021 Budget Workshops as we help cities develop their Fiscal Year 2023 budgets. This session is offered in 5 locations across Iowa. A virtual session is also available.
Budgeting Deep Dive
In the morning, general sessions will focus on the changes to the budget process, common data needed, and recommendations from the state on common problem areas for city budgets. After lunch, attendees select between a session designed for those new to the state’s budget process or an advanced budgeting topic.
